Why Come to EyeVue

What makes EyeVue distinguished from other offices?  Seven reasons:

Time Commitment

Time Commitment

We allow plenty of time for your eye exam, not 10–15 minutes, which allows us to do a thorough and accurate eye examination. We dilate the eyes to get a good view of the back of the eyes to detect cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, retinal detachments and many other diseases.

Pediatric Exams

Pediatric Exams

We are experienced and comfortable with examining children's and infants' eyes. Eyeglasses and contact lenses can be prescribed in infants as young as six months old. We carry a good selection of infant eyeglasses from Miraflex to fit even your smallest child.

Specialty Contact Lenses

Specialty Contact Lenses

We are well trained in fitting eyes with keratoconus or with irregular corneas. We use specialty contact lenses from Synergeyes and Visionary Optics that incorporates newer technology to fit your eye’s specific needs and provide increased comfort and adaptation. In addition, those patients with eyes having astigmatism requiring bifocal contact lenses, have the option to be fitted with bifocal toric contact lenses.

Computer Vision Assessment

Computer Vision Assessment

We perform a computer vision exam to understand the source of your eyestrain from computer use and with that information, recommend appropriate treatments to enable you to be comfortable with using the computer all day.

Dry Eyes Management

Dry Eyes Management

Sometimes over-the-counter artificial tears are not adequate enough to relieve your symptoms and discomfort associated with dry eyes. There are prescription medications to help manage your dry eyes. We can provide an appropriate treatment plan to take care of this common, chronic condition.

Prescription Safety,
Sports, and Swim Goggles

Sports, and Swim Goggles

Many offices do not offer these eyewear in prescriptions. We can provide them for you and even for your children.

Myopia Control

Myopia Control

There are several methods which are effective in slowing down the progression of myopia or near-sightedness in children.  We offer fitting for Soft Bifocal Contact Lenses and/or recommend Progressive Addition Lenses (PAL) as a way to address this problem.
